Day 1 - Afternoon
Registration was officially near the library in the morning, but because many people went to play golf, hardly anyone pitched up for registration. In the afternoon, various stragglers started gathering at the Wyvern.

Lynette (Knight), Mrs. Fletcher (Jacques House housemistress during our time, now semi-retired, teaching whenever other Junior School teachers are sick or on leave), Lynette's Jean (Knight), also an Old Kingswoodian -- two years younger than us -- and Lynette's husband Bruce. Lynette is a mother of four, and has a very nice figure in spite of it! She has a beauty therapy business, and her lovely skin and grooming show that she's an expert in her trade. Her kids do very well at school, especially in Maths!
In the background of the photo are guys who were at the school for their 40th reunion. We went on a tour of the school together, led by Mr. Mop Bandey. Many of our classmates were still making their way from the golf course, so we didn't see them until evening. It was so windy that some wondered how they could want to play golf at all!

Ulla (Gossow) and Lynette rang the school bell in Chubb House with the permission of Mr. Bandey. Behind Lynette is a glass display case which contains the old bell which melted when School House burned down.
Ulla lives in Windhoek. She has two children, if my memory serves me correctly!

Old boys' rugby match
There was a match between Old Kingswoodians and Old Andreans at City Lords afterwards. Here's Ulla chatting to Andy Joseph. I don't know why I have no pics of Andrew Pike -- he and Andy are great friends and were together most of the time.
Andy still loves horses. She works with a homeopath in Cape Town now, mixing tinctures and assiting in other ways.
Anyway, no-one really watched the game, and I have no idea who won! The only picture which I took of the game itself came out black.

My uniform
Not that many pics of me at this site, because I was the photographer! My second-cousin Una is a music teacher at Kingswood, and her daughter Allison took this pic of me in their kitchen.
The cap is the official reunion cap, organised by Kim; and the tie formerly belonged to my brother Anton, who now lives in Australia.
