Day 2 - More gorgeous people
Here is Grant Butterworth with... could it be? Yes, it is! He married the famous actress Marisa Tomei! Oh no... I made a mistake, Marisa Tomei is a bit older than this pretty woman. She is indeed American, but she doesn't really sound American anymore -- actually she sounds more like a South African who lived in America for a few years. Apparently she tried to continue her career as a DJ when she came to South Africa, but her American accent was still strong at the time, so it didn't work out.
I just had to include another pic so that you could see the baby saying, "Here you go, folks, this is my mom."
Having searched through the entire town, Joshua Paton finally found the reunion. He got the longest hug in Kingswood history from me. Joshua had driven through from Hogsback, where he manages Hobbiton, running camps for underprivileged children. Joshua and his wife Sue have two boys, Tim and Sebastian, and they also have two foster-children. Here he's chatting to Jenny (Black). Joshua, Jenny and I all lived in the same part of town when we were at school.
In the foreground is Marjorie (Ferreira), who was in Standard 8 when we were in Matric. She left Kingswood in the same year. Nice hair, eh? It's all real!
Ross Randall and Chris Veitch were impressed with Joshua's mountain-man appearance.
